Nutritional Benefits
What's inside Turkey Tail
Turkey Tail (Trametes versicolor) is a tough, shelf-like mushroom — not eaten as a food but extracted into teas and tinctures. The compounds of interest are two specific polysaccharide-protein complexes: PSK (polysaccharide-K) and PSP (polysaccharide-peptide). Negligible macros in tea form.
Health & Wellness
How it shows up in research and tradition
Turkey Tail is among the most clinically studied medicinal mushrooms. PSK has been used as an adjunct cancer therapy in Japan for decades. Modern research continues to explore its immune-modulating effects. We sell it as a food-grade tea/decoction ingredient — for any clinical use, talk to your oncologist or naturopath, not us.
These statements have not been evaluated by the FDA. MotorSpores mushrooms are food, not medicine. They're not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. Always consult a healthcare professional for medical concerns.

How to cook Turkey Tail
